Fides Krucker uses the unmediated voice to unlock the power of the self. Reeps One (Harry Yeff) is using AI to unlock the power of the voice. In this session Krucker and Yeff compare and contrast their work to explore what AI brings to and takes away from the creative experience.

| Fides Krucker has sung, produced and created award-winning contemporary opera and interdisciplinary work in Canada and abroad for four decades. A master teacher, Fides has written a book on women, culture and voice: it will be distributed by Penguin Random House this August. Reeps One (Harry Yeff) is an English beatboxer, composer, and new media artist. He completed his 3rd artist in residence at Harvard University in 2019 and is currently part of the Experiments in Art and Technology program at Bell Labs. Reeps One produces work as a response to an ongoing investigation into the evolution of the human voice, art, and technology. |
